Lulua's Kunafa

Cut the kunafa very tiny and small, as small as you can go.

Add melted butter on half the portion, then put it in a pan.

Place the pan in the fridge and put on top of it any heavy plate or cooking pot so the kunafa becomes so thin and mutamaseka.

Meanwhile get 2-3 taj cream, half tbsp soft cardamon, 3 thinly sliced bananas, mix them together.

A while later put the mix on the kunafa, cover it with the remaining kunafa, and press as much as u can.

The idea of my kunafa is that it becomes so soft, and perfect when u turn it upside down. It will look flat.

Of course the second layer of the kunafa has to have a good amount of butter. Don’t feel hesitant to use a whole butter stick for this recipe

Put in oven on medium heat and rotating sides til golden. Keep in mind the lower side bakes faster than the exposed side.
