
1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
6 tablespoons of olive oil
12 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 1/4 cups of chicken broth
1 can of diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
Cooked spaghetti
1/4 cup of parsely
Toss shrimps with salt, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Heat 2 tbs of oil in a heavy pot, add shrimp, fry for about 2 minutes. Add 1/4 of the chicken broth, bring to boil then cook for about 5 minutes. Remove shrimp (and juices) to the side. Heat remaining oil on low heat .Add garlic, cook until soft and yellow coloured. Add tomatoes, remaining broth, sugar and salt. Cook until thickened about 10 min. Then add the parsley and reserved shrimp and sauce. Allow to simmer for another 5 min.
Advice:
*If u like smooth sauces, b4 you add the shrimp you can smoothen it with a hand mixer.
*If you are making it for the kids or you dont like your food too spicy dont add too much pepper.
This looks so yummy!! does it have to be with fresh shrimps??
