Strawberry Jello Dessert


2 cups crushed pretzels
3 tablespoons + 1 cup sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1 med container of Cool Whip
1 lg container of Strawberry Jello
2 cups hot water
1 pint frozen strawberries (chopped up)
8 oz cottage cheese

Crust
Combine pretzels, 3 tablespoons sugar and margarine in a 9x13" baking pan, bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (no clue how long, sorry)

Filling - Beat cottage cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip, spread over cooled crust

Jello - Dissolve Jello in water and add strawberries, pour over cottage cheese mixture
Chill and serve

Its good to get the cottage cheese really cold first so the warm jello won't ruin the layer effect.
